- Order details — your name, email, shipping and billing address, and phone number when you place an order.
- Enquiries — anything you send via our contact or enquiry forms.
- Mailing list — your email address if you ask to be notified about new pieces or the shop opening.
- Usage data — basic, anonymous analytics about how the site is used (pages visited, device type).
Payments
Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles them under their own strict security standards.
How we use your information
- To process, pack, and deliver your orders, and to contact you about them.
- To respond to your enquiries.
- To send occasional updates about new pieces or the shop — only if you've asked to be notified. You can opt out at any time.
- To maintain and improve the website.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the trusted services that help us run the studio:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — sending order and enquiry emails
- Supabase — secure database and image storage
- Vercel — website hosting
Each processes data on our behalf under its own privacy and security commitments.
Cookies & analytics
We use minimal, privacy-respectful analytics to understand site usage. We do not use advertising trackers.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Depending on where you live (including under UK/EU GDPR and California's CCPA), you may have additional rights. To make a request, email danielle@cotswoldhouseco.com and we'll respond promptly.
Retention
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil orders and meet legal and accounting obligations, and mailing-list details until you unsubscribe.
Children
Our shop is intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
